Delete your Fishinary account

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

In the app (immediate)

Open Fishinary and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are removed right away.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@fishinary.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Account deletion request.

We verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your profile, username, and avatar
Every catch you have logged, including all photos stored on our servers
Catch locations and any sharing settings
Experience, level, coins, quests, badges, titles, and callsigns
Friend relationships and pending requests
Analytics events associated with your account and device
Your login credentials

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Backups are purged on a rolling basis. Anonymized aggregate statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.

Before you delete

To keep a copy of your data, email privacy@fishinary.com from the email address on your account before you delete it.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
